Pittsfield Softball Shuts Out Taconic

PITTSFIELD, Mass. -- Tess Lyon went 2-for-3 with an RBI Tuesday to help the Pittsfield softball team defeat Taconic, 5-0.

 

Britney Perkett was 2-for-4 and scored twice, and Giulianna Pierce struck out seven while scattering three hits to earn the win in the circle.

 

Pittsfield (6-0) hosts Mount Everett on Thursday.

 

Taconic (1-6) hosts Lenox on Thursday evening at the Doyle Complex.
