Wahconah Softball Takes Two Against Lenox

DALTON, Mass. – Marlee Arnhold went 3-for-3 with a pair of doubles Friday to lead the Wahconah softball team to a 15-3 win and a double-header sweep of Lenox.
 
“Great team effort tonight,” Wahconah coach Dustin Belcher said. “It’s tough to play a double-header. It took a total team effort. It was a great response after a tough [Tuesday] loss.”
 
Kenadi Arnhold finished 3-for-4 with a double and three RBIs, and Sammy Kaley was 2-for-4 with a double. 
 
Alliah DiPietro came off the bench to hit a triple.
 
Marlee Arnhold earned the win in the circle, striking out five.
 
Lilly MacDonald went 2-for-3 with an RBI for Lenox in the Game 2 loss.
 
In Game 1, Julia McComish struck out 11 and scattered three hits in a 12-0 Wahconah win.
 
Sydney Payson went 3-for-5 with a pair of doubles, and Marlee Arnhold was 4-for-4 with a double in a 14-hit Wahconah attack.
 
Wahconah (13-2) goes to Longmeadow on Monday.
 
Lenox (9-5) is at Monument Mountain on Monday.
