WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass — Things were clicking on all cylinders for the Mount Greylock boys' basketball, which put together its best four quarters of the year in a decisive 74-49 home win over Lenox on Monday night.

The Mounties (12-3) were led by sophomore guard Tyrell Thomas, who shot 5 of 6 from 3-point range on his way to a career-high 25 points. Thomas also had a team-high seven rebounds and five assists for Greylock, which took control of the game with a 24-12 run in the second quarter. That gave the hosts a 42-27 halftime lead, and Bob Thistle's club didn't slow down in the third quarter, outscoring the Millionaires 22-8 in the frame.

"We played four good quarters of basketball," Thistle said. "The kids came out hungry and stayed together the whole game. It was a big win for our team and now we need to get ready for the next challenge, which is Lee on the road this Thursday night."

Junior guard Hank Barrett also contributed 13 points and three assists for the Mounties, while classmate Nathan Majumder added seven points, four boards and two assists. Lenox (9-5) was led by Chris Bravo, who finished the game with 14 points.

Greylock plays the Wildcats at 7 p.m. on Thursday.
