Remember the CVS employee at the Berkshire Mall who chased a shoplifter to the parking lot, jumped on the hood of his car then was injured as he sped away up Cheshire Road last April. 31-year-old Kelly Dowling sued the suspect, 35-year-old David Pelezarski for the full limit of his insurance liability and yesterday, was awarded a $25,000 dollar settlement. Published reports in the Berkshire Eagle say Pelezarski is still facing criminal charges in Berkshire Superior Court and continues to be held at the Berkshire County House of Correction on $25,000 dollars bail.
