St. Faustina's Feast Day celebrated at the National Shrine of The Divine Mercy

STOCKBRIDGE - The National Shrine of The Divine Mercy is inviting the public to join the Marian Fathers and Brothers in celebrating the feast day of St. Faustina Kowalska, Saturday, Oct. 9. The day's schedule includes speakers, opportunities for confession, and Holy Mass. St. Faustina (1905-1938) was a Polish nun and mystic who had a series of amazing, personal revelations with Jesus Christ that she recorded in her Diary. Canonized by Pope John Paul II on Mercy Sunday, April 30, 2000, St. Faustina records Our Lord's desire for all to know of His mercy. The Marians, who administer the National Shrine of The Divine Mercy, are dedicated to spreading the Divine Mercy message and devotion throughout the world. The schedule for the Oct. 9 celebration is as follows: 11 - 12 noon "Eucharist Amazement in the Life of Saint Maria Faustina" Fr. David Lord, MIC, Rector of the National Shrine 1:00 - 1:50 p.m. Confessions 1:30 - 2:00 p.m. Rosary for Life 2:00 p.m. Outdoor Holy Mass of St. Faustina's Feast Day Celebrant, Fr. David Lord, MIC, Shrine Rector Homilist, Fr. Michael Callea, MIC, Vice Rector of the National Shrine 3- 3:30 p.m. Exposition of the Most Blessed Sacrament and Benediction, Chaplet of The Divine Mercy, blessing of religious articles, and veneration of the relic of Saint Faustina 3:30 - 4:30 p.m. Confessions Built in 1950, The National Shrine of The Divine Mercy serves thousands of pilgrims every year, introducing many of them to the Divine Mercy message and devotion. The Marians of the Immaculate Conception is a congregation of about 600 priests and brothers in 17 countries around the world with a special devotion to the Blessed Mother. In addition to being the custodians of the National Shrine of The Divine Mercy in Stockbridge, MA, the Congregation operates the publishing apostolate Marian Press, which publishes the magazines MARIAN HELPER, FUENTE, and ROZE MARYI. Stockbridge Grange Community Dinner

STOCKBRIDGE, Mass. — The Stockbridge Grange is holding a community dinner on Sunday, Feb. 8, 2026, featuring spaghetti and meatballs, salad, and bread with dessert choices of chocolate cream or lemon meringue pie.
 
Dinner is $17.00 per person, take out only with 12-1:30 pm pick up at the Stockbridge Grange Hall at 51 Church Street, Stockbridge.  Orders may be made by calling 413-243-1298 or 413-443-4352. 
 
Inclement weather postpones the meal for a week.
