Housatonic Software releases Microsoft Project Viewer V8

Housatonic Software Inc., a leader in Microsoft Project Viewing Solutions, has released the newest version of the Housatonic Project Viewers for stand alone PCs (HPV Solo/PC 8) and for Web servers (HPV Web/Server 8). The latest version of the Housatonic Software's flagship MS Project Viewer incorporates a new generation of enhancements that add extensive capabilities for project viewing and collaboration among project team members. The software is now available in five languages: English, French, Spanish, German and Italian. Housatonic Software has added additional language support to HPV 8 in response to global corporate customer requests. In today's complex environments, project teams are increasingly distributed around the world. HPV 8 breaks language barriers, date format differences and time display challenges. A few of the new features in Version 8 include: Default/Custom Views - Saved project plans in MS Project with particular zoom settings, customized columns and custom colors, and user-created specific time scales will be displayed in HPV 8 with the same settings. Extensive support for subprojects - Many project plans have a master file and multiple subprojects link to it. With HPV 8 subproject information is viewed and displayed exactly as it would be in Microsoft Project. Show outline levels: It is now possible to view up to nine levels of subtasks. Other new features include Export to Excel, custom time scale settings, all level zoom, complete bar format support, extensive support for securely protected and encrypted mpp files, advanced printing capabilities, and various performance improvements. Stockbridge Grange Community Dinner

STOCKBRIDGE, Mass. — The Stockbridge Grange is holding a community dinner on Sunday, Feb. 8, 2026, featuring spaghetti and meatballs, salad, and bread with dessert choices of chocolate cream or lemon meringue pie.
 
Dinner is $17.00 per person, take out only with 12-1:30 pm pick up at the Stockbridge Grange Hall at 51 Church Street, Stockbridge.  Orders may be made by calling 413-243-1298 or 413-443-4352. 
 
Inclement weather postpones the meal for a week.
