2001 graduating class of St. Joseph Central High School to return to their alma mater

Members of the June 2001 graduating class at St. Joseph Central High School will return to their alma mater in January to let this year's senior class what to expect at college, according to Leslie M. Walton, guidance director. The annual event is hosted by the senior class and features coffee, soda and danish. The coffee hour is scheduled to fall during the Christmas break. This year it is January 9 at 10 a.m. in the cafeteria. Snow date this year is January 10 at 12:30 p.m.

Berkshire Food Project Closed for Power Issues

NORTH ADAMS, Mass. — The Berkshire Food Project is closed Monday because of a power outage early in the morning. 
 
"We are unable to get proper electricity and heat to the building," according to Executive Director Matthew Alcombright. "We hope that this can be resolved and be open tomorrow."
 
The project does have some sandwiches and frozen meals that will be distributed at the entry.
