Community Screening of Gun Violence Documentary to Be Held in North Adams
NORTH ADAMS, Mass. — A public screening of the documentary film "HEAR ME" is scheduled for Friday, May 29, at 7:30 PM at the First Congregational Church of North Adams, located at 134 Main Street.
The event is free and open to the public.
The film, produced by Jenny Herzog and directed by Dave Simonds, features insights from experts on the root causes of gun violence, alongside the perspectives of seven young people sharing their frontline experiences.
The screening is co-sponsored by the First Congregational Church North Adams Missions Team and ROOTS Teen Center, Inc.
Following the film, organizers will host a community discussion focusing on the root causes of gun violence specifically within the Berkshires, as well as potential strategies and solutions moving forward.
