DALTON, Mass. — Berkshire Money Management (BMM) announced the promotion of Financial Advisor Scott C. Little, BFA, CEPS, to Partner.

The promotion recognizes Little's longstanding contributions to BMM, its clients, and the team he has helped shape throughout his career.

Little has been with BMM for 24 of the firm's 25 years and has served as Vice President since 2002. During this time, he has helped generations of families navigate important financial decisions with greater clarity and confidence. His approach centers on understanding the emotions behind financial decisions, listening carefully to clients, and helping them find a path forward through some of life's biggest transitions, including retirement, new beginnings, divorce, and loss.

"Scott's influence can be felt in so many parts of BMM, and I'm incredibly grateful for everything he's brought to this firm," said Allen Harris, Founder and CEO of Berkshire Money Management. "Over the years, he's become someone our co-owner and Chief Engagement Officer, Stacey Carver, and I trust deeply, someone our team turns to for guidance, and someone our clients know they can count on. He's helped teach and mentor the next generation of advisors while continually raising the bar for how we care for our clients. Scott has played an important role in building the BMM we know today, and I'm excited to have him help lead us into what comes next."

As a Partner, Little will take on a more formal role in shaping the firm's future, including participating in owner meetings, succession planning, business development strategy, and advisor recruitment and development. He will also help develop new initiatives, guide strategic projects, and contribute to the long-term vision for BMM.

For Little, the work is a natural extension of the role he has already played within the firm.

"BMM has been such a big part of my professional life, and I'm incredibly grateful for the trust our clients and our team have placed in me over the years," said Little. "What has always mattered most to me is being there for people when they need us — listening, helping them work through difficult decisions, and giving them confidence in the path ahead. I'm proud of what we've built together, and I'm excited to take on this new role and help shape BMM's next chapter."

Little's commitment to clients is deeply personal. Many years ago, an insurance agent sold his parents financial products that ultimately left them in a precarious position as they approached retirement. That experience shaped his philosophy as an advisor and inspired him to treat every client with the same care and concern he would give his own family. Today, many of Little's clients consider him part of their family—a reflection of the relationships he works to build and maintain.

Little holds a BS in Business Administration and Economics from Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts and is a Certified Elder Planning Specialist and Behavioral Financial Advisor. His areas of interest include family financial planning, estate planning, retirement planning, and behavioral finance.

A lifelong Berkshire County resident, Little lives in Adams with his wife, Julie, and their daughter, Abbey. He is active in his church and is a dedicated supporter of St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.

Dalton Advances to Berkshire Adult Baseball League Final

By Stephen DravisiBerkshires.com Sports
WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. – Paul McBride went 1-for-2 with a pair of runs batted in and threw 4 and two-third innings on the mound Sunday to lead the Dalton Moneymakers to a 10-9 win over the Pontoosuc Lake Monsters to sweep their semi-final series in the Berkshire Adult Baseball League 33-and-older division.

Dalton, the tournament’s third seed, was able to stem a three-run Pontoosuc rally in the bottom of the seventh to secure the win and a 2-0 series sweep.

On Saturday morning, Dalton earned a 12-2 win to start the best of three series.

Now, the Moneymakers move on to face either Tunnel City Freight or the Adams Pirates, the league’s first and fourth seeds, respectively, who finished their playoff series on Friday as well.

On Mount Greylock Regional School’s junior varsity field on Sunday, Dalton scored twice in the top of the seventh to take a 10-6 lead with three outs left.

But Pontoosuc got four hits and a sacrifice fly with one out to draw within one before Dalton reliever Tim Healey got a groundball back to the mound and fired to first to end the game.

Dalton never trailed but never could shake the Lake Monsters in the back-and-forth game.
