Water Shutoff Temporarily Closes North Adams Planet Fitness
NORTH ADAMS, Mass. — Planet Fitness announced on its North Adams club website that the facility is temporarily closed due to a water shutoff.
The gym, located at 82 Main St., has been closed for several days. Members have taken to social media to express frustration over the sudden closure.
City officials said water to the gym had to be shut off due to a gas issue at the property. Berkshire Gas is working to resolve the problem, which is not related to city infrastructure.
Label Shopper and Liquor World, which are located in the same shopping complex, remain open.
iBerkshires.com has reached out to Planet Fitness to inquire when the gym plans to reopen, but has yet to hear back.
