Dear Dad, you did your best you knew how to be a father. I'm thankful that you were there most of my life. I cherish the time we lived on The White Devon farm in Geneseo. You were your happiest in life and life was very good then. Your grandchildren loved coming for summer vacation when they were young to stay a week out of the summer. Thank you for you. You will be missed and in our hearts forever.

Hi Papa, With a heavy heart I am reading your obituary and remembering the times we spent together. One particular time stands out where we sat at the pasture when I was a young child. You boosted me up on the fence where a calf was being rehabilitated by you. I had on my Punky Brewster boots that the calf was licking. It's like the calf couldn't get enough of the boots. We both enjoyed the moment together. You really loved working with the farm and I loved visiting you.
