Beverly Ann Flagg, 52
NORTH ADAMS, Mass. — Beverly Ann Flagg, 52, of 42 Taft St. died Wednesday, Feb. 8, 2004, at North Adams Regional Hospital after a long battle with cancer.
Born in North Adams on Nov. 8, 1951, daughter of Lawrence J. and Lillian Senecal Lord Clark, she was a 1969 graduate of the former Adams Memorial High School.
Mrs. Flagg was employed for many years as a waitress at the former Capital Restaurant on Main Street. She was last employed by Mount Greylock Bowl in North Adams, retiring in 2001 because of poor health.
She was a homemaker and mother and loved spending time with her family and friends.
She and her husband, Robert H. Flagg, would have celebrated their 35th wedding anniversary March 29. They were married in Adams.
Besides her husband, she leaves a daughter, Seana Flagg of Worcester; two sons, Brian Flagg and Trevor Flagg, both of North Adams; four sisters, Celia Wojcik of Adams, Patricia Harding of Cheshire, Christine Bellew of Fort Stuart, Ga., and June Gardner of North Adams; three brothers, George G. Lord Sr. of North Adams, Henry Lord of the state of Colorado and Larry Lord of Pownal, Vt., and five grandchildren, Lita, Liz and Whitney Williams, and Robert and Zachary Flagg.
She was predeceased by a sister and brother, Pauline Tovani and Lawrence "Buddy" Clark Jr.
FUNERAL NOTICE — Services to celebrate the life of Mrs. Flagg will be conducted Wednesday at 7 p.m. at FLYNN & DAGNOLI-MONTAGNA HOME for FUNERALS, West Chapels, 521 West Main St., by the Rev. Joseph H. DeCosta, pastor of First Baptist Church of North Adams.
Calling hours at the funeral home will be Wednesday from 4 to 7. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations are suggested for North Adams Regional Hospital or the Oncology Unit at NARH through the funeral home.
