Vincent E. Beaudin

Vincent E. Beaudin, 58, of 1 Harding Ave. died yesterday at North Adams Regional Hospital shortly after being admitted. Born in Adams on Sept. 16, 1946, son of Victor M. and Alma Tremblay Beaudin, he attended the former Notre Dame School and graduated from the former St. Joseph's High School in North Adams. He received his bachelor's degree in education from the former North Adams State College, now Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts, and his master's in education from Westfield State College. A math teacher, Mr. Beaudin worked for the Pittsfield Public Schools for 36 years, retiring from Taconic High School in 2004. He was a communicant of the Parish of Notre Dame-St. Thomas and volunteered at the Notre Dame bingo game. He enjoyed playing tennis. He and his wife, the former Stella M. Fournier, were married Nov. 18, 1972. Besides his wife, he leaves two daughters, Christina Kanelos of Adams and Amy Denette of Clarksburg; a brother, Victor G. Beaudin of Pittsfield, and a grandson. He was predeceased by a son, Kevin Beaudin. FUNERAL NOTICE -- The funeral for Vincent E. "Vinnie" Beaudin will be Wednesday, Aug. 10, at 9 from AUGE-PACIOREK-SIMMONS FUNERAL HOME, 13 Hoosac St., Adams, followed by a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 10 at Notre Dame des Sept Douleurs Church celebrated by the Rev. Daniel J. Boyle, pastor of the Catholic Parishes of Adams. Burial will follow in Bellevue Cemetery, Adams. Calling hours will be tomorrow, Aug. 9, from 4 to 7 at the funeral home. Survivors include two sons-in-law, Peter Kanelos and Timothy Denette; a sister-in-law, Diana Beaudin; a grandson, Justin Denette of Clarksburg, and several nieces and nephews.
