NORTH ADAMS, Mass. — Matt Vachereau scored twice, and the Drury boys soccer team scored four second-half goals to erase a 2-0 deficit and beat Lee, 4-2, on Saturday.

“In the second half we moved the ball the best I have seen yet this year,” Drury coach Greg Caproni said. “We started chipping away at their lead. I knew once we found the net things would start going our way.”

Vachereau got things started with an unassisted goal early in the second half. Sully Boland then tied it with an assist from Jonah Miles.

Thane Preite set up Vachereau with a long cross into the box for the eventual game-winner with 10 minutes left in regulation.

Five minutes later, Miles provided some insurance with a 25-yard shot over the keeper on an assist from Jake Daughterty.

Joe Liporace made 15 saves for the Blue Devils (2-2).

“Joe made some great saves to keep us in this game and to protect our lead,” Caproni said. “It was a great win for us and hopefully we can keep this momentum going forward.”

Drury travels to face Mount Everett on Tuesday.
