WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. — Three different players scored for Mount Greylock and Charlotte Rand stopped nine shots in a 3-0 win over Hoosac Valley on Monday in the regular season finale for both tournament-bound teams.

Lucy Barrett provided the game-winner in the 12th minute, and Sophie Leamon and Kelsey Orpin provided insurance goals in the second half as the Mounties (11-3-2) finished the season on a 3-0-2 run.

"[Barrett's] goal was a blast from 20-plus yards out after a corner kick," Mount Greylock coach Tom Ostheimer said.

Another set piece led to Mount Greylock's second goal in the 44th minute. Alex Delano recieved the kick and played it to Miranda Bucky, who delivered an assist to Leamon for her team-leading eighth goal.

Orpin got her eighth goal of the season off a through ball from Caroline Flynn to provide the final margin.

"It was great to beat a quality opponent in our last regular season game," Ostheimer said. "Hopefully this will give us momentum as we prepare for the tournament."

Hoosac finished the regular season 13-2-3.
