Lenox Volleyball Outlasts Taconic

PITTSFIELD, Mass. – The Lenox volleyball team Friday earned a five-set win over Taconic for the Millionaires’ third win in four days.
 
“In a five-set match we fought hard and came back after losing the first set to win the next two,” Taconic coach Lance Fyfe said after the 25-18, 25-27, 15-25, 25-17, 15-5 decision. “But Lenox hung on thanks to their awesome defense and smart play earning them the win in five exciting sets.”
 
Gracie Cormier led Taconic with nine kills, and Sophie Aubin had 34 digs. Ella Stodden pulled up 28 digs to go with 22 assists and six kills.
 
Taconic (0-2) hosts Wahconah on Tuesday.
 
Lenox (3-0) hosts Mount Anthony on Monday.
