NORTH ADAMS, Mass. – The rich got richer in the Berkshire County High School Bowling League’s seventh get-together of the winter season.

Lee, Taconic and McCann Tech each earned a 3-0 win to create more separation between the top and bottom halves of the league standings.

But the battle among those top three teams for regular season supremacy remained just as tight with the Wildcats, Thunder and Hornets separated by just one point.

First-place Lee got a strong day from Hailey Hankey, who rolled a 221 game that was the best in the league on Friday of any bowler at King Pins and a 376 series to take a 3-0 win from Mount Everett.

The Wildcats also got a 217 game from Nate Terry that was tops among the league’s boys on Friday and a 317 series from Maddie Kotek.

McCann Tech’s Reilly Lefebvre rolled a 213 game and a day’s best 405 series to lead his team to a 3-0 win over Pittsfield. Connor Snow backed him up with a 214 game and 394 series that were among the day’s best.

Lee remained tied with Taconic, which beat Monument Mountain, 3-0, behind performances from Danielle Mathes and Kyla Croshier. Mathes had the second-best game among the league’s girls (190) and third-best series. Croshier rolled a 185 game and the day’s second best series among the girls, a 360.

Monument Mountain’s Noah Walker had a good afternoon, rolling a 210 game and a 397 series that was second in the league on Friday.

This Friday at Cove Lanes in Great Barrington, the top of the standings will see some movement when Lee faces McCann Tech. Taconic will roll against Mount Everett, and Pittsfield plays Monument Mountain.
