DALTON, Mass. -- Brady Breitmaier carded a 43 Friday to lead the Wahconah golf team to a 179-202 win over Mount Everett on the back nine at Wahconah Country Club.

"The short game is always tested on our back nine and today didn't disappoint," Wahconah coach Pete Terpak said. "On a positive note, another up and coming young talent, Brady Breitmaier, bested all competitors for medalist honors, shooting 43.

"I'm very happy for Brady. He played well considering how tough the course played today. To see another young freshman capture low round is a tremendous shot in the arm for him and our team moving forward."

Dan Wilson (44), Tim Kaley (45) and Pat McLaughlin (47) rounded out the scoring for Wahconah.

Mount Everett was led by Cooper Rothvoss, who recorded a birdie on the 14th hole on his way to a 44.

Jack Seward Daley (46), Eli Smith (50) and Jacob TenBroeck (62) also scored for the Eagles.

Wahconah and Mount Everett both go to Wyantenuck Saturday for the Berkshire County Championships.
