SPRINGFIELD, Mass. – Mount Greylock’s Jacob Borawski Monday ended his trip to the All-State Wrestling Tournament with a win in the seventh-place match at the Mass Mutual Center.

Borawski defeated Monument Mountain’s Isaac Hartshorn in their consolation final at 175 pounds to finish 3-2 at the two-day event.

Hartshorn ended up taking home an eighth-place medal from the tournament.

The highest-finishing Berkshire County wrestler at the event was Mount Everett’s Yaritza Cruz-Bravo, who placed sixth in the girls tournament.

Cruz-Bravo started her Monday with a third-period pin to stay alive for third place at 126 pounds in the consies.

But she dropped her next two matches, finishing in the bout for fifth place.

Back in the mixed-gender tournament, Cruz-Bravo’s Mount Everett teammate, Max Manning, dropped a 8-2 decision to Milford’s Josiah Carney in the seventh-place bout at 150 pounds. Manning ended up placing seventh.
