Mount Everett Baseball Edges Lee
LEE, Mass. – Brody Kinna went 3-for-4 at the plate Sunday to lead the Mount Everett baseball team to a 6-5 win over Lee in the regular season finale for both teams.
Landon Havens doubled, and Brady Carpenter drove in three runs in an eight-hit attack for the Eagles.
Trevor Leonard, Johnny Ireland and Carpenter split time on the mound, striking out 12.
John Brighenti led the Wildcats’ offense, going 2-for-4 with a pair of doubles and a pair of RBIs.
Brighenti also provided 1 and a third innings of relief on the mound for starter Dom Newton. The pair combined to allow three earned runs.
Lee has two games for non-qualifiers in the Western Mass tournament: Monday at home against Springfield International Charter and Thursday at Chicopee.
