Hoosac Valley Wins at Lenox

LENOX,  Mass. – Gracelyn Wright struck out seven and scattered five hits Thursday to pitch the Hoosac Valley softball team to a 6-2 win over Lenox.

 

Wright helped her cause with a single and an RBI at the plate.

 

Hannah Lord and Emma Bissaillon led the Hurricanes’ offense with two hits apiece. Lord also drove in three runs.

 

Lenox’s Cassidy Flynn was tagged with the loss after giving up four earned runs.

 

Grace Julieano went 3-for-2 with a double for Lenox, which got RBIs from Lilly MacDonald and Amaya Alger.

 

Lenox (3-1) hosts Agawam on Saturday.

 

Hoosac Valley (4-0) is at Hopkins Academy on Saturday.
