Wahconah Girls Drop First Game at Syracuse Tournament

SYRACUSE, N.Y. -- Anndea Zeigler scored 18 points Thursday to lead New York's Cardinal O'Hara to a 71-49 win over the Wahconah girls basketball team.
 
Zeigler scored 11 points in a 25-7 first quarter to set the tone for Cardinal O'Hara.
 
Amelia Dougherty led Wahconah with 16 points. Cassie Tobler added 10, and McKenna McIlquham scored six.
 
Wahconah continues play in the tournament, hosted by Bishop Ludden, on Friday.
