NORTH ADAMS, Mass. – Lily Mirante scored 14 points Thursday to lead the Drury girls basketball team to a 54-19 win over Mount Greylock.

Delaney Hayden and Addisyn Shepard each scored eight on a night when nine different Blue Devils put the ball in the basket.

Drury jumped out to a commanding 17-2 lead after one quarter, but Mount Greylock found its footing in the second, going to the locker room down 26-16.

“Credit to their second unit,” Drury coach Ian Downey said. “Coach [Jabari] Powell made an adjustment, and that group really battled in the second quarter and got them back into the game. It forced us to have a tough conversation at halftime about how we played during that stretch.

“To our team’s credit, they responded. We didn’t give up a field goal in the third quarter, which is a proud moment as a coach. When a team can have a hard conversation and then go out and execute, that says a lot about them.”

Naelyn Robinson scored seven points to lead the Mounties.

Mount Greylock (7-6) goes to Lenox on Friday.

Drury (9-3) goes for its 10th win on Friday night against Agawam.
