Mount Everett Girls Top Mount Greylock

SHEFFIELD, Mass. -- Gwendolyn Carpenter scored 23 points and passed out 12 assists Monday to lead the Mount Everett girls basketball team to a 67-55 win over Mount Greylock.
 
Carpenter and Madeline von Ruden (11 points) each scored five in the pivotal third quarter, when the Eagles erased a 32-26 deficit and took a 47-46 lead.
 
Carpenter went 8-for-9 at the foul line, including 4-for-5 in the fourth quarter.
 
Mackenzie Ullrich scored 15 points, and Marion Devoti added 12. Madison Ullrich grabbed 12 boards to go with her eight points.
 
Mount Greylock got a game-high 23 points from Delaney Babcock and 15 from Brook Masse.
 
The Mounties (8-9) host Lenox on Thursday.
 
Mount Everett (11-6) goes to Hampden Charter on Wednesday.
