Berkshire Mountains Faerie Festival
Bowe Field, Adams
Celebrate creativity, learning, and stewardship of the Earth this Saturday by putting on your fairy wings, and enjoying a magical day. The event features activities, music, vendors, and food.

Juneteenth Celebrations
Monument Square, North Adams & Durant Park, Pittsfield
Time: Saturday and Sunday, 11 a.m.
There are two celebrations this weekend in the county's two cities. "I Am Afro," a street fair, runs Saturday afternoon in North Adams and features performances, pop-up booths, food, and family-friendly activities.
Sunday's event in Pittsfield with a freedom walk from Persip Park at 11 to a community gathering at Durant Park starting at noon. This free celebration features live entertainment and music with DJ Young Champ, a photo booth, local Black businesses and food, art projects, family-friendly activities, and community partners tabling.
This month's theme for the festival is "Celebrating Summer." The event features vendors, live performances, activities, and the Whiskey Treaty Road Show.
Start your weekend early at Naumkeag for a live musical performance by Wanda Houston and the HBH Band.
Enjoy the view from the garden and have some light refreshments from the outdoor snack shack. Participants are welcome to bring their own food and drinks along with chairs or blankets to sit on the lawn.

Ghost Tour
Ventfort Hall, Lenox
Time: 8 p.m.
Robert Oakes, author of "Ghosts of the Berkshires," will lead a tour through the historic estate sharing tales of its alleged hauntings.
Admission is $30 and minimum age to attend is age 12. Reservations are required; to purchase tickets call 413-637-3206.
Based in Upstate New York, Mark Tolstrup and Jill Burnham offer a taste of New Orleans meets Austin. Their original songs deal with both the hard realties of life and the joys of being alive. The Avocado Pit will set up shop at the museum's gates, serving tacos, beer and wine. Makerspace for kids to create art. Bring seating or blankets. Cancellations posted by 2 p.m. on Friday.
Saturday
Raiche With Jasmine Janai Performance
Mass MoCA, North Adams
Time: 7 p.m.
As part of the "I Am Afro: A Street Fair for All the People" celebration, Berkshire County native and soul-pop star Raiche performs in the Hunter Center.

Book Talk: 'Daughter of Spies'
The Clark Art Institute, Williamstown
Time: 2 p.m.
Local author Elizabeth Winthrop Alsop will discuss her memoir about her mother, Patricia "Tish" Hankey Alsop, with the Clark's Research and Academic Program project assistant Sara Houghteling.
"Daughter of Spies" tells a story about the pioneering women who helped win World War II, the difficult choices they faced in postwar America, and the powerful effects of secrets.

Father's Day Car Show
Vermont Veterans Home, Bennington
Time: 10 to 2 (rain date, June 18)
The Vermont Veterans Home hosts the annual Fathers' Day Car Show presented by the State Line Car Club Admission is free and registration is available the day of the event. Designated parking for attendees will be located in the rear of the building closest to the South Street entrance. Front and memorial parking are for registered vehicles.

During this free event, Sculpturenow artists will discuss their work.
This year's exhibition includes 27 new, juried, outdoor sculptures by regionally, nationally and internationally recognized artists.
Jethro Tulle 'Aqualung' 50th Anniversary
Worthington Golf Club
Time: 7 p.m.
Martin Barre, Grammy-winning lead guitarist of Jethro Tull, celebrates the 50th anniversary of the albumb "Aqualung" by performing his favorite songs from the band. Food and alcohol can be purchased on site. Bring seating and a picnic basket, but no outside alcohol. Free parking on site. Handicapped accessible.

The North Adams market is open every Saturday and offers produce and baked goods from local retailers including Red Shirt Farm, Fahey Family Farm, Bohemian Nouveaux Bakery, Mon Artistic Pets, and more.
Powered by Roots Rising, the market is open every Saturday rain or shine.
Each week the market will have fresh locally grown fruits and vegetables, along with meat, eggs, cheese, baked goods by local vendors. Participants can shop for flowers, and artisan goods while listening to music and participate in family activities.

McCann Names Valedictorian, Salutatorian for Class of 2026
NORTH ADAMS, Mass. — The top students for McCann Technical School's class of 2026 have been announced by Principal Justin Kratz.
Valedictorian Landon Plankey LeClair and salutatorian Ryleigh Holland will speak at graduation, held on Wednesday, May 27, in the Amsler Campus Center at Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts.
LeClair, son of Eric and Susan LeClair of the town of Florida, was enrolled in the Advanced Manufacturing Technology Program. He achieved the highest academic standing in the graduating class, earning an impressive cumulative grade-point average of 4.44. During his time at McCann, he demonstrated dedication to academics through a course of study that included AP Calculus, AP English, and AP Physics.
LeClair is a member of the National Honor Society, and SkillsUSA, recently placing first in the CNC 2-Axis Turning Programmer competitionat at the district level, qualifying him to advance to the state level.
He is a recipient of the John and Abigail Adams Scholarship and completed a co-op placement at Sinicon Plastics in Pittsfield, where he gained hands-on experience in his field.
In the fall, LeClair plans to attend Western New England University in Springfield, where he will major in engineering.
Holland, daughter of Michael and Kelly Holland of Stamford, Vt., was enrolled in the Computer Assisted Design
Program and achieved the second highest academic standing in her graduating class, earning an impressive cumulative GPA of 4.42.
Jason Codey struck out 13, walked two and allowed just an infield single as the Generals earned a 7-1 win over Wahconah to claim their third straight regional title. click for more
Gracelyn Wright struck out eight, and Genevieve Lagess went 3-for-5 with four runs batted in as the Hurricanes beat Monson, 17-3, to claim their first Western Mass title in four years. click for more
For the boys, Ward Bianchi helped lead the way with a win in the shot put and a second place in the javelin as the Mounties finished 16 points ahead of runner-up Pittsfield (pending the results of the pole vault, which were unavailable at 11 p.m. Friday night). click for more
