NORTH ADAMS, Mass. – After picking up a draw with Mount Anthony over the weekend, the Drury boys' soccer team took a step back on Tuesday, dropping a 7-0 decision at home to Lenox.

The Millionaires' offense was a step too quick for the Blue Devils, who fell behind less than three minutes in when senior Alex Pratt scored the first of his three goals on the day. Senior Alex Bennett finished off a pass from classmate Abdull Alhenaidi less than six minutes later, and Drury (0-2-1) made things worse by allowing an own goal with less than eight minutes left until halftime.

"This was a rough game for us," Blue Devils head coach Greg Caproni said. "We knew coming into the game that Lenox is always a tough team. I feel we mentally pulled ourselves out of the game early on. Lenox moves the ball very fast, and we had trouble keeping up with the speed of play."

Pratt and Liam Gennari scored two goals apiece in the second half, while Alhenaidi chipped in with two more assists. The Millionaires (1-1) outshot the hosts 18-2 on the day with a 4-0 edge in corner kicks.

Junior keeper Joseph Liporace finished with 11 saves on the day for Drury, while Trevor Hathaway made two stops to earn the shutout for Lenox.

The Devils next play at Wahconah at 4 p.m. on Friday, while the Millionaires host Hoosac Valley at 7 p.m. on the same day
