Pittsfield High School senior Amanda Wright was named the Berkshire County North girls soccer league most valuable player for a year in which she led the Generals to 14 wins and the quarter-finals of the Western Massachusetts Division 1 tournament.

Wright was joined by five of her Pittsfield teammates on the North all-star first team.

Goalkeeper Allie Hunt was selected as the league’s top keeper by a vote of the coaches. Pittsfield also contributed defenders Taylor Patti and Carly Robinson, midfielder Trinity Cookis and forward Ilana Albert to the first team.

All of the Generals but Hunt are seniors. Hunt, a junior, is one of six non-seniors on the 18-girl first team.

Wahconah each had four players on the first team.

For Wahcoah, forward Bridget Lussier, defender Maddie Sprague and middies Katie Dumas and Arden McKnight all were named first team. McKnight is the lone freshman on the first team.

Mount Greylock forwards Lucy Barrett and Kelsey Orpin are joined by midfielder Melissa Swann and defender Sarah Stripp on the first unit.

Hoosac Valley defenders Mackenzie Robinson and Madi Ryan were named first-team all-league, along with Lenox midfielder Alessandra Arace and defender Allie Connell.

Ten more players were named to the second team in the North Division: Pittsfield’s Lauren Daury and Britney Perkett, Wahconah’s Ashley Zink and Gianna Moncecchi, Mount Greylock’s Elena Cerveira and Caroline Flynn, Lenox’s Tova Brown and Grace Fitzgerald and Hoosac’s Megan Richardson and Marissa Felter.
