Wahconah Boys Go 3-0 at Mount Everett
SHEFFIELD, Mass. – Brayden Ryan ran a time of 17 minutes, 17 seconds to place first in a 54-runner field and lead the Wahconah boys cross country team to three wins in a four-team meet on Wednesday at Mount Everett.
Lake Kittler placed third for Wahconah, which put five finishers in the top eight on the way to wins over Lee, Monument Mountain and the host Eagles.
Mount Everett’s boys won two races, including a two-point win over Monument Mountain, behind J. Hunter Jeffries and Nicolas Bruno, who placed fourth and fifth, respectively.
Monument Mountain’s Nina Martin won the girls race in 21:23, leading a group of four Spartans at the head of the pack. Kealy Devergilio, Ciara Kickery and Noah Honig-Briggs helped Monument Mountain to a dual meet win over Wahconah.
The next two girls across the finish line were Lee’s Enara O’Connell and Wahconah’s Megan Tucker.
The Wildcats prevailed in their girls dual meet against Wahconah.
