Pittsfield Girls, Boys Earn Track and Field Wins

PITTSFIELD, Mass. – Four Pittsfield High boys turned in double-victory performances on Friday as the Generals earned dual meet wins against Wahconah and Mount Everett in a three-team track and field meet at Taconic.

 

Emmanuel Anwomeah won the 100 meter dash and the 400. Samseedy Touray took the 200 and the long jump. Cohen Zahn won the mile and the two mile runs. And Aiden took first in the discus and javelin while placing second in a 1-2-3 PHS sweep in the shot put.

 

Wachonah’s Cooper Calvert won the high jump and the triple jump.

 

In the girls meet, Pittsfield’s girls also picked up a pair of wins.

 

Giselle Cormier led the way with victories in the 800 and 1600 for the Generals.
