Navigators Rally Past SteepleCats

NORTH ADAMS, Mass. -- The North Shore Navigators scored four runs in the top of the sixth on Monday en route to a 5-3 win over North Adams in New England Collegiate Baseball League action.
 
Cuyler Baxter went 2-for-3 with a pair of RBIs for North Adams, which got five innings of shutout pitching from starter Kyle Salvati.
 
The SteepleCats (1-5) go to Hartford, Vt., to play Upper Valley on Tuesday.

North Adams Post 125 Juniors Down East Longmeadow

EAST LONGMEADOW, Mass. -- Lucas Hamilton Tuesday went 3-for-5 with three RBIs to lead the North Adams Post 125 Juniors to an American Legion Baseball win over East Longmeadow.
 
Jack Marlowe was 2-for-4 at the plate, and Jaydon Dimitropolas hit an RBI triple in an 11-hit North Adams attack.
 
Dimitrapolis also went the distance on the mound to earn the win, striking out a pair of hitters.
 
North Adams (6-2) hosts Wilbraham on Thursday.
