McCann Tech Knocks Off Lee

GREAT BARRINGTON, Mass. -- Ryder Lefebvre and Connor Snow Friday stepped up to lead the McCann Tech bowling team to a 2-1 win over Lee.
 
The victory moved the Hornets into a second-place tie in the league standings as McCann Tech became the first team to take any points from the Wildcats this winter.
 
Lefebvre rolled the best game in the league on Friday, a 233. Snow posted the day's best two-game series, a 451.
 
Lee was led by Maddie Kotek, who posted a 215 game and 376 series -- both best among the league's girls on Friday. Devyn Fillio was right behind her with a 187 game and 358 series.
 
Friday's other two matches were 3-0 sweeps.
 
Taconic beat Mount Everett behind Kyla Croshier, who rolled a 174 game and 335 series.
 
Monument Mountain swept Pittsfield.
 
Steve Woodard led the way with a 231 game and 432 series, both second in the league on Friday. Mason Bailey had a 422 series that was third in the league.
 
On Wednesday at Cove, first-place Lee faces Monument Mountain, Mount Everett plays McCann Tech and city rivals Pittsfield and Taconic face off.
