Lenox Tops Mount Greylock

LENOX, Mass. – Grace Julieano went 2-for-4 with a double Tuesday to lead the Lenox softball team to a 12-7 win over Mount Greylock.
 
Evelyn Julieano and Cassidy Flynn had two hits apiece, and Layla Soules doubled and drove in three runs in an 11-hit attack for the Millionaires.
 
Flynn went the distance in the circle, striking out seven, walking two and allowing two earned runs.
 
Mount Greylock got a 3-for-4 day at the plate from Kaleigh Jaros to go with doubles from Bayleigh Tatro and Kimora Melanson.
 
Mount Greylock rallied for four runs in the top of the seventh to cut into a 12-3 deficit, but Flynn got the last out on a ground ball to second baseman Markiara Jackson to strand two runners.
 
The Mounties (2-9) are at Turners Falls on Wednesday.
 
Lenox (8-3) is at Lee on Thursday.
