Carpenter's Homer, Angell's Pitching Lift Mount Everett Softball

SHEFFIELD, Mass. -- Gwendolyn Carpenter went 3-for-4 with a home run, a double and three RBIs Monday to lead the Mount Everett softball team to a 10-2 win over Lenox.
 
Sarah Beckwith, Lauren Edwards and Devan Galli each doubled for the Eagles.
 
Faith Angell earned the win in the circle, striking out eight while allowing one hit.
 
Anna Lynch allowed nine hits while striking out five for Lenox, which got a pair of RBIs from Aimee Green.
 
Lenox (2-2) host Lee on Tuesday.
 
The Eagles (3-2) are at Monument Mountain on Tuesday.
